What this is

Tinfoil Pigeons is a free, non-commercial site for curiosity and entertainment: it shows aircraft that appear to be overhead, on a retro radar scope, with extra detail where available.

Not for operational use

This is the important one. The flight information here comes from community and third-party data sources. It may be incomplete, delayed, approximate or wrong. It must not be relied on for navigation, flight safety, air traffic, security, emergency, commercial or any other critical purpose. It is for interest only.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it abusively, overload it, or use it to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

Data and intellectual property

The Tinfoil Pigeons name, look and original content belong to us. Aircraft positions, routes, photos, place and map data are provided by third parties and remain theirs; we credit them in the footer and use them on an awareness, non-commercial basis.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including as to accuracy or availability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
